Tina Marquardt, Operations, has corporate and entrepreneurial sales, advertising and consulting experience. Ms. Marquardt has worked for 23 consecutive years in the automotive industry, holding positions from sales, sales management, finance director, business development manager, and marketing and advertising. She owned and operated Step It Up LLC, providing private consulting for small business owners in need of management, sales and marketing training. Her computer technology skills and experience in personnel management enable her to organize staff, streamline internal operations and promote a team work environment. In March 2007, she developed an online property management service to assist absentee New Orleans homeowners manage their vacant properties. Her experience as an advisor and corporate consultant qualifies her to direct small business owners as they maneuver through the rebuilding and recovery process in New Orleans. In the fall of 2007 Tina joined the Beacon staff and oversees the daily operations, manages the workflow, budget and external relationships with Beacon Administrators implementing the Beacon model. She serves on neighborhood committees such as NORA, Blight and Economic Development and Marketing. Tina was also instrumental in developing a data and mapping program that tracks neighborhoods overall recovery progress.
